On October 7th 2004 an exhibition of works of the reknowned Austrian architectural practice Coop Himmelb(l)au will be opened in MUAR.
There will be displayed work documentation and drawings for three most important projects by CHBL now in the stage of building.

1. AKRON ART MUSEUM (2001-2006) - a private art museum in Ohio, USA
2. BMW WELT (2001-2006) - an exhibition hall for BMW AG in Munich, Germany
3. MUSEE DES CONFLUENCES (2001-2007) - a museum of natural history in Lyon, France

These are projects well-known to the public by means of multiple articles on this subject in the mass media. Our exhibition is titled "Working CHBL" and its aim is to demonstrate a creative and work process of one of the world most respected and imitated architectural studio.

Besides original work drawings there will be screened several videos in the exhibition hall.
They will demonstrate to a visitor a athmosphere of the CHBL office in Vienna.

As an addition to the exhibition a special edition of the KIRPICH magazine will be published. There is a collection of 70 drawings, DVD with a video and CD with a music collection that inspired the architectural revolution of CHBL in it.
Originality of this event lays also therin that this is the 1st exhibition of such a high standard in Russia, it has been prepared specially for our museum and it has never been shown anywhere else before.

Its original concept was worked out by the architectural school EDAS Moscow Postgraduate. The exhibition was organized and prepared by EDAS in collaboration with N.O.A.
